HY, Charlotte, Des Moines, Minneapolis, San Antonio -- heck they are all armpits. What's the saying? The fish rots from the head down? And the head is at HY.

So, are we at a point that someone just posts any random Google news article that say Wells Fargo?

Wells purchase Wachovia to get a Charlotte presence. Norwest acquired Dial Financial Corporation to get a Des Moines presence.
DFC was a consumer loan company. Norwest purchased Wells Fargo to rebrand itself and thus the Minneapolis presence.
We were having a good ole time until the Iron range guys got stds and transmitted the "greed" throughout the bank.

Don’t worry because Charlie has no interest in cultivating the mortgage business. When it’s convenient and on his own schedule, there will be a healthy headcount reduction in Des Moines and I am not just talking about operations jobs. It’s sad but the reality. Managers and executives know this.

I wonder why management has not implemented the employee reviews there?

The infighting really is nonsense. HY is the one true enemy of all domestic employees. All the other locations have many great employees working in them. HY is the one location where closing it down and firing everyone would actually be a net positive.

At least NYC, Charlotte and Minneapolis lead in at least in one category...with DEI hires, not merit based. Carry on!

Minneapolis is the armpit of the bank, followed by Charlotte.

Des Moines is solid, as are other locations.

The Charlotte vs Des Moines fight is misguided, we need to worry about NYC. Besides, Charlotte is way better than Des Moines anyway.
