I had a question in terms of choosing to not relocate. If you choose to not relocate is that considered quitting, or being laid off? As in, would you still receive severance and your prorated bonus if you get fired for choosing to not move to Dallas?

Early on the company was giving dates based upon the decision you make. However, now they are not letting you know how much time you have left if you choose not to move. Desroches said that people would have 6 months after receiving the letter, but he is too much of a lying pu$$y to live up to his word. Typicall AT&T C level.
You will be coded as DNR.
Does First stand for First Dipsh-t with nothing to do with your time? Just curious
If you choose no, you would receive your severance and prorated bonus. You can also draw unemployment and you receive the same medical benefits for 6 months.
If you say yes, but change your mind later and don't end up moving, you would not get severance or a prorated bonus. I'm not sure if you could draw unemployment. I would doubt it, since it's basically quitting your job.
My letter about the requirement to move to Dallas was actually a job offer at a specific Dallas building. I had 3 weeks to reply. I had 1 additional week to rescind. If I declined, it was up in the air what would happen next, as far as what was written. Our AVP gave us a verbal heads up of the date and I am now gone from AT&T, but everything occurred in sync with the verbal offer. If your letter looks like mine, you might need to ask your boss. Good luck, I was able to interview during the 4 months internally and externally and found a job at Lockheed Martin.
