New Feedback Process

Oh what fresh hel* is this? Just more worthless administrative cr-p for us to endure rather than doing our real job. I predict that nothing (good) will happen as a result of this, everyone will complain about it and it will just mysteriously disappear after a couple of cycles. I’m just so tired of this BS!.

The push for AI, whether or not it works, will lead to thousands of layoffs. Until AI learns that the ones they dont need are the mouthpieces at the top. And this Feedback process? What a joke! Clearly it was rushed through without proper testing and collapsed in 2 days… Dont they ever learn?

It’s ’voluntary’ but if you don’t select anybody it was going to automatically assign people for Feedback. Make it make sense.

Like everything, it’s ‘voluntary’ but just F around and find out what happens in your annual review if you didn’t participate. Those metrics are going to be shared all the way up to the top.

Yeah, this is a joke. I can't believe they spent the time and money to develop this ridiculous app. It's not like anyone's going to give people bad feedback, unless maybe they're leaving and want to have some fun with it.

I know the people I can select from, but I only work with a couple of them on a day-to-day basis. Most of them have no idea what I do at a detailed level.

It'll be interesting to see how it looks on September 15th.

Great. This must be the next bright idea from The Kinsey Group.

Wells Fargo had 360 feedback a couple years ago where we selected a few for feedback. People either didn’t respond to provide feedback or had arranged on the side to only speak well about each other and we never heard about it again.

It looks like BNY has a newer iteration of this.

This is how they are going to force at least 10% of the teams out. If you don’t rank well in the feedback, bye bye. It’s a very Goldman philosophy. 360 feedback can be great, but being forced to rank all of your peers even if you rarely work together is quite another story entirely. It’s just a metric that will be used to get rid of you.

Coming soon…. BNY Colo-feedback. Where you make deposits in the rest rooms and swipe your badge over it. Then you get feedback about your diet, bad genetics and low IQ for working here. It also will be a back up to RTO dashboards to time your pit stops against productivity.

And as I saw today you are forced to pick 9 people from a fairly small group that they choose for you. If you don't pick by I think 8-9-24 they pick them for you.

Good to get feedback but what’s annoying is lack of transparency…why this new process when you can request feedback through performance management tool? So many glitches in the tool and HR should have had a webex meeting to brief on why this is being introduced? Will this feed into the year end process? Sounds like someone up the ladder wanted to leverage AI to rollout a subpar tool to tick some boxes..
