“Wells Fargo continues to say what its anti-discrimination policies are. But the jury and the court plainly heard from Wells Fargo’s own witnesses that executives at the highest level of the bank had never even read the policies, much less followed them,” Gessner said.
Accommodations management, employee relations, and I sent in a loudspeaker
Who is “them”?
I told them in 2022 that the current accommodations process could leave them open to these types of suits and they kept ignoring me. I am so happy that this happened.
Quite a costly decision for WF. Good for him! I suspect several more lawsuits will be filed over the coming months for different reasons related to RTO, Accommodations, Age Discrimination, etc. They tell people their job/position has been eliminated but the work didn't go anywhere. It has to get absorbed by the already overworked remaining staff. Buckle up WF Execs - this could be a bumpy ride!
Are they targeting people with approved WFH accommodations now to try and force them back to office?
But we just got number one in best firms for disability. Hmm. Perhaps those rankings are rigged.
Tip of the iceberg for the location strategy ilk
WF is doing this to thousands of WFH people. I hope shart has some money set aside for this. They've been hanging their hat on "reasonable accommodation", well apparently not even considering the requested one, which they clearly aren't as they militantly apply RTO, is against the law too. Shart is such an F up.
What a sh..ty thing to do- no pun intended!
WTF was Wells Fargo thinking? They give us all kinds of quarterly compliance training, but the bank itself is not complying with laws and regulations.
as par...WF tried to weasle him out.....glad he received a substantial settlement
A request not being seriously considered, at WF? Really? Noooooo...
😐
