Underpaid, underappreciated and no progress/getting blocked by manager for growing - thank God for the VSP

Been going above and beyond, tried so hard to get an actual plan of action to grow in my role, but manager kept dismissing it not to mention they are toxic. Severely underpaid compared to others with this role so I am so happy for this VSP.... cannot wait for it to get announced

I’d phrase it like this - the company is definitely not afraid of the idea of a merger - however, the companies often never fully integrate.

This is why we have (still) have several different inventories for all the different types of circuits we support.

Outside vendors smell blood (money) in the water when we approach them to facilitate a complete integration, and our internal teams can’t be taken offline that long, or don’t have the ability to integrate a system they haven’t worked in before.

Get rid of value GTS, what company has a mini IT shop for each aquisition? Wait… VZ does, that is why they are great at mergers and aquisitions 😂😂😂😂

during mid year and yearly reviews I get asked in value GTS to not submit my directs score, so they can review it before submitting it, ensuring his friends gets the majority of the budget for merit increases. Shame on u Mr. S#M#I#T#H!!!

Sounds just like what Mr Smith did when he was in charge of value GTS ; constantly promoting incompetent friends from he brought from his previous company “world fuel”, thanks god he is now gone; but still a lot to clean up he left a big mess,

Same experience too as my Sr Director blocks me when it has to be signed offed for no reason. My direct boss loves me!

But sr director helps favs who are not preforming but are the favorites and gives those the special projects … it was an easy decision to press the button because this isn’t the first one to do this to me and I know it won’t be the last . Sad part is these are the leaders of the futures who will continue to climb the ladder with not a lick of emotional intelligence, makes up lies to appease the team, and can’t separate emotions from business ethics.
