What is theories on if you clicked the button and then un clicked the button in the 11th hour. I heard some got talked back into staying. Do you end up on a lets RIF them first list?

Complete BS. There are NO retention bonuses, and very very few rejections.
A leadership buddy of mine here in OK was given a very nice retention bonus for unclicking before the deadline. It must have been boocoo dollars because he says a ton of work is coming his way!!!

I opted in and out over and over last time. Clicked this time to opt in and never gave it a second thought.
No one held it against me last time or anyone else I know that did the same. I’m sure there is that one spiteful “leader” so full of themselves that they’d never forgive you but they were toxic to begin with so it ain’t actually going to make it worse.
Everyone is always on the RIF list here just depends on what leaders loses at story time.

I know of folks who opted in back in 2018 and are still here six years later. Oddly enough, neither are opting in this go round.

I don't think it hurts much. Chances are you will be moved to a new leaders at some point, and no one will know.
