To @fhm+1tON3T5U The union is not gonna strike. The last contract extensions We actually had the leverage and the Union tuck tail and took an extension instead of walking. The unions, complacent defending people that needed it and collecting dues and that’s it.

You would be stupid not to take a package. The union is gonna have a hard fight for there next contract. Verizon has already shipped many calls overseas. They won’t have to worry about a picket line, cause nobody want s to get out of there house for work let alone a strike. WFH was good for the time, but during that time they planned well for a strike and I’m guessing there ready to get rid of the union employees.
I’ve also been told that the guys in da Bronx ,who don’t take the package ,can park their trucks in front of the McDonald’s on Jerome and Kingsbridge Rds for hours at a time during there workday. I guess that McDonald’s have constant internet issues everyday?
To @kdh What is the 50k and 2200 a year package is that 2200 a year for each year of service? . The last package we received in New York was 60k and a 1000 a month for 4 years….and I would say weather you can afford to take it or not depends on how well you handled your finances I have 25 years and if they offer a package like that I am out of here
Any eisp will be the basic 2200 per year and 50k basically what you make yearly before taxes and only a few per location will get it mostly those that have 30 plus years so.for them it might be worth it all others back to work hans needs a new Ferrari
