Why have a TA and not give a least highlights? ie percent raise… benefit improvements… something…Are the bargaining committee not proud of the agreement? Are there hidden takebacks?
To the local leadership that have an explanation meeting tomorrow, (Friday), ask the questions of the national. To the members….. vote no! Remember this next officer election!
Thanks for the free pair of boots, AT&T.
This contract is an absolute win for T. Lower wages , reduced benefits, and almost non existent job security. Those that will high five each other, either can’t read or are within 5 years of retiring. Anyone with any significant time needed to retirement are absolutely getting hosed. Congrats though !
Haven’t seen any D9 Core TA details yet but it should be similar to all the others, just more drama.
The last TA post applies to Direct TV employees, unsure of core?
TA is basically like all others, as someone already posted, mainly a contract with a slightly better than normal wage increase with, COLA added.
Main points; 4 year contract, 14% wage increase, 5% 1st yr. then, 3% @yr with COLA. Benefits maintained with lower cost. 401k same, no increased match. Voluntary Layoff process added by seniority to protect junior employees. MOA’s carried and a few other minor changes like, Prem tech title change to Service Tech but maintains same pay so, nothing earth shattering. A lot of drama that should have been settled before contract expiration but then how could Labor and CWA justify themselves.
Post the TA link or details here, I don’t see it.
In Unity?
We got it. Posted on cwa district 9 IG.
Wonder how many management layoffs happen after this agreement gets ratified? Won’t need the contingency team once it’s done.
Mr Tic Tac is hosting a watch party from 8-12am Saturday night at CWA headquarters. Music & Cards. COLA bingo, C suite dart board and axe throwing.
Where is Mr Tick Tock?
Let’s see if it follows others ratified recently, any take backs would be unacceptable.
4 year contract with COLA capped at 5% total raise @yr and healthcare premiums stay at 29% employee cost.
- 5%
- 3%
- 3%
- 3%
Just a guess but I suspect severance pay tables will be cut. This may not be shown prior to ratification.
