Does anyone have any idea what the criteria for layoff would be? OKRs? Insight?

Let’s hope between VSP and early retirement there are enough taking to allow some logic (get rid of the useless fat) behind the cuts to the remainder. Sick of doing the work of so many other people sandbagging or retired on the job. That might make too much sense though.
I don't. But my guess is that will be a factor but not entirely all of it. Heard this is going to be far more targeted.
Mass layoffs like these are rarely merit or performance based. Otherwise, they wouldn't open up voluntary and let the good ones leave. More likely, entire units will be cut based on business/budgetary needs, with maybe a skeleton crew left to "turn off the lights".
