Employee prescription dr-gs we paid too much for

I only have a few generic dr-gs I take and have not needed rattlesnake antidote or dr-gs to keep me alive. Ironically I am on wegovy and only pay around $25/mo while others aren't covered at all and paying $1200/mo.

I don’t think I ever even bother to use my WFC provided insurance for scripts. Usually GoodRX or whatever in-house version the pharmacy has comes out to a cheaper copay. Literally our insurance is worse than relying on free coupons.

I upvoted your comment because that's awesome. I wish I could say the same. I personally think prescription medicine and treatments are overpriced. I just read a link where a volunteer firefighter was bit by a copperhead. He had to.be treated with 8 viles of anti-venom. Each vile was $200,000.00 the insurance didn't cover. We also have a friend who is a retired auditor (not with Wells Fargo), that has to spend $28,000.00 per month on prescription dr-gs to stay alive. I do not think we should convert to socialist Healthcare. IMO maybe when I'm laid off I need to get a good job with a major pharmaceutical company. Maybe they pay well and provide good insurance and benefits.

I didn't understand this. My prescription dr-gs haven't been very expensive at all.

Fifteen years ago my kid's school had a bad lice outbreak. I left work immediately when their school called me. The doctor prescribed them special shampoo. It totally worked, but cost $400.00 for two bottles. That was like half of my paycheck at the time.

Yeah, thanks for bringing this up.

I was actually thinking this very same issue and wondered where I could go to learn more.
Then it hit me. The obvious place was a internet site called the layoff.com. Not the PrescriptionDrugPrices.com board. That would make too much sense.
