These large severance packages will make the employers reluctant to hire people in Europe when things get better. Although I don’t think Intel will be part of the next recovery

5+2 per year upto 104 weeks.

First 5 weeks at your Intel weekly pay based on P60 total / 52.
2 weeks at state max of €600.
Medical insurance & benefits gone the last day of service.
6months of career services externally.

Assuming 4 to 5 wks per year u will get approx 2 yrs wages (wage+car+(apb/3). With a max tax free of 200k. Plus statutory of 30k tax free.
