I’m confident ‘they’ have already figured out what will be happening to the rest of us at the Barn, we just know what exactly other than saying ‘by the end of 2025.’ lijecdveruobe else within the company, we’re super frustrated since the higher ups kept using the word transparency that they clearly do not understand the meaning of. What a joke! The ~550 active employees here are waiting on bated breath. Come on, Shart. You can do it! We’re ready. Let’s get on with the sh1tshow, shall we?!

2oso+1tQYfXSA, I work with a very small group that continues to have very little to do at the moment, so nothing official for everyone but I feel the way the building is changing, it's sooner. We hear rumors that it's by end of 2024 for most lob left at barnhart.

Are you just starting rumors or have you heard something official?

Hold steady, workers of The Barn. The severance you earned is coming soon. You will not be forgotten!

There are ~550 active employees (after the 96 on 7/23) still assigned to Barnhart (non remote). They have said it will close by no later than late 2025. So they have to figure out those 550 before then.

I keep an eye on the WARN notices for Oregon:
https://ccwd.hecc.oregon.gov/Layoff/WARN

Last one posted was for the 96 let go from Barnhart on 7/23. Parking lot is looking extra empty today. Trying to stay patient but can't wait until they close this place down.

Hey! Does anybody check the WARN notices for your state/s? (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act) l. There are Federal WARN laws and some states have their own laws that require employers to notify the state when they plan to lay off workers, details vary by state, but these notices are published.
Google your state WARN laws for details.

Location strategy was sent to all groups earlier this year. You should know based on that if your job will be affected.

WF will be exiting the site completely. I wouldn't be surprised if the Beaverton School District takes over the building because of the school next door. Whether anyone will remain at the Tower is up in the air. I've heard different things from different managers

The Barn and Salem call center are toast, but there will still be some people in the tower and bench related people.

The building no, someone else is coming in.
Not sure why people keep asking the same question.
Upper management clearly notified all of us that regardless if you work in a building or at home, each and every one of us is being let go I'm Oregon.
