Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Even if we wanted to, we can’t achieve the glory of old

Mgmt is not capable of doing it. Upper leadership doesn’t care - they have been treating Cisco as a personal cash cow, and all is good while it lasts. Even if there was a will and strategy, it’s too late to catch up. After waves of layoffs that made sure we became depleted of competent and experienced folks, we have no human capital to do the turnaround with. That’s usually what happens with every corporation that treats workers as disposable supplies which are first in line when costs are to be cut.

The glorious is aready here. The free foods in brake room makes happy for work and play ping ping between code. This is never best time to make next generation software and hardware components for surging market share!! Keep stock price higher!! Unless sales people continues lie to customers, we will become better always!!!

Lot managers are not capable AND NOT WILLING as they are only interested in their political powerplays to squeeze out Cisco as much as possible. Folks who speak up and are interested in bringing forward the company are being laid off in the half-yearly LR waves - so the corr-pt directors, VPs and so on can continue with their games. Again: Cisco needs a deep review by an external and independent consulting company (elected by the shareholders) to identify those corr-pt managers.

Everything has a lifecycle. It"s accelerated in tech. Just the way it is. Shake your fist at the wind; scream at the storm if it makes you feel better. But your efforts are better spent if you build a boat.
