Remote

How many employees are still remote? Are they doing a review of remote status across the org to try and get more people back in the office?

Yes i heard that they are definately going after ADA people with accommodations. Now that does not mean that they will move them back to the office but probably a lot of people will be. If you think about it i can’t complain. Everyone that wants a job goes to the office. Now is it hard and problematic in the office yes but it is a job so to keep that job i will do what i have to do. Does it make sense no and is it better for the people in the office no but that is not going to matter.

They are not going to give you a lot of time to clear this so any Medical accomodation should get your ducks in a row get with your specialists get your medical releases submitted because they will be talking to your doctors all over again figuring out how they can accommodate you in the office

Not enough. At least 50k more employees should be fully remote. The only justification for not doing so is to try to get them to quit. There's no other benefit that justifies the incredibly amount of money we waste on admin buildings.

More than a few Execs in FLA who are remote, when are they being shown the door, Charlie?

"Staff employees and low level managers need to report to the office while Sr. managers and executives can work from home 100% remotely."

Rules for thee, not for me. Meanwhile CS is laughing from his second home in the Hamptons on a Teams meeting.

Don't be surprised if they slow down the attacks on medical exemptions after they just had to pay a guy millions for not taking his accommodation into consideration. Courts rightly determined that WF doesn't "consider" these requests at all and simply summarily denies them en masse.

So one of my co-workers is still remote because she lives "42 miles"away from the office. Meanwhile I live 75 miles away and I commute 90 minutes one way, three times a week. Make it make sense!! 🚩🚩

They are even doing review of those of us on ADA accommodations. I was told “even blind people” are being made to go back in to offices.

@1edv+1tRry1VA, those are HY executives who work from home. The western part of CT is known as a wealthy bed town for Wall St. executives.

Way too many remote managers in CT of all places. "near the city" (just a 2 hour train ride away) but haven't ever been.

Yep, 20k. Also, a couple weeks back they reclassified a couple thousand employees that were previously listed as having a physical work location but in reality they were 100% remote. I presume someone got tired of explaining why they weren't in compliance with RTO so they changed their work address in teamworks.

I am still remote and they are trying to phase me back in office even with a doctor accommodation saying I have a disability covered under the ADA and cannot drive over a certain mileage on a regular basis. Even after they moved my office double the commute it used to be and technically outside of my doctor’s restrictions.

More than 21K, less than 22K.

Remote status is under review for those near an office.

Location strategy will take out a ton of those who are and aren’t.

Literally one of the easiest Workday searches you could execute.
