Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Mid market lay offs

Are they going to have the guts to lay off or are they going to plan everyone out? Anyone have a real scoop on when this ridiculous division will either slim down, die or change? Real insight only please.

It was more than 2 modules that didn’t backfill in platinum.

From what I've heard they want to converge mobility and fiber next year, apparently in Q1 but who knows. Tons of managers are moving to different areas across the company, so who knows what will happen - too many people are on PIP plans too currently, its only time

Well, this segment has always been the hot potato for leadership. No one wants it and you get stuck with junior officers trying to make a name for themselves. They always fail. Probably because they so often tap retail leaders to run business and they don’t remotely understand the shift needed to pivot from transactional consumer sales to the complex relationship management needs of business to business.

You are doomed. AT&T promotes for the wrong reasons, rewarding incestuous nepotism instead of competence.

They are not backing filling 2 platinum modules in one market so doubt they lay anybody off just wait for them all to leave or PIP them out so they don't have to pay benefits.
