Spending $200M+ to feed Chuck’s ego is corporate fraud
I’m in a BU, and we haven’t met in person since 2019. And we’ve been told there’ll never be another face-to-face.
I have no clue who most of my team are.
With travel budgets slashed across all departments, and since Cisco is a hybrid work company, just make it a virtual event.
Save the company $200+ million (plus lost productivity) to get the same effect.
Sales people are there to learn and not just party and drink… right?
GSX is all in baby. Vegas vacation booked for the end of august.

AMs and SEs don’t want to go to this either.
Engineering orgs never seem to ever have the will or budget to do stuff like this unfortunately. The scale would be much lower than this sales kickoff.
