Yesterday I walked in from lunch and there were 4 trucks and around 10 workers.
I overheard one of them bragging how big a job this was going to be but that his bank account didn't mind.
Anyone know of they're about to pull the plug?

The decisive test to determine if shart is a total D is this: if the building was always going to be closed, and it was, why make people RTO after COVID? It might have got a couple people to quit, but those savings would be much less than the cost of occupying the building. In short, he did it simply because he enjoys torturing employees. In fact, he's willing to waste money on that 'hobby'.
Yeah, the tower is a horrible place to work for the exact reasons you mention. WF doesn't have a ton of space there anymore. It's likely than a very small number of people from The Barn will be relo'd there but it's going to be very rare exceptions.

But would you actually be ok with being asked to relocate downtown to keep your job? I’m not. I’m not paying to park or spend ridiculous time on Tri-Met only to dodge methed out zombies on a good day. Hey Charlie you d*ck, why didn’t you think to move everyone left in Oregon to the tower to meet your attrition goals and get that sweet bonus?? It’s because you’re an idi0+ and have zero clue what you’re doing. M0r0n. FHY
Barnhart should unionize.
Quickly.
Barnhart is also the same of a company that provides cranes, rigging, and other construction equipment and solutions. But yeah, all the construction equipment and contractors around lately does make me think we won't last until the end of the year. I doubt they will move any of us to the Tower downtown.
It is d-mb, but they may have remodeling they need to do for the next tenants, so herding short timer WF employees around is "worth it" in their eyes.
So true to typical WF form to spend time and money moving a bunch of people they’re just going to lay off by Christmas WTH 🤦♂️ FHY
There is also a bunch of random equipment in the south west parking lot (the one we couldn’t use for a while allegedly because of the school). Some of it says Barnhart on it but I have no clue what it’s for - just looks like construction stuff to my untrained eyes
I agree with the idea that it’s for all the planned movement on the second floor. They’re trying to move about 80 people into desks that are crammed with prior employees’ abandoned junk and piles of random computer equipment. I’m sure they haven’t been keeping up with getting and keeping organized all the keys to all those desks.
Hey guys, I just got up to use the bathroom. When I got out, I noticed Charlie Scharf himself, standing at my desk. He had an empty box in his hands and was asking my co-workers if they enjoyed their free cookies for their last employee appreciation week. Am I about to be laid off ?!?!(!(!(!(?!?!
There are a bunch of teams being moved around to different workstations on the 2nd floor. They could be there to key some of the locks in the workstations. I bet there are a ton of workstations missing keys. They get lost all the time.
Why do you hate posts about the Barnhart Center? Those of us still there care about what is happening. If you don’t, keep on scrolling.
No one cares... 😬
Some miserable tw ats have nothing better to do than to just troll 🧌
Yes, this happened jack @$#
Oh good, another "barnhart" post.
Locksmith trucks?!? 😂
lol yeah I'm sure this happened
