I see posts in these threads that we did not get the expected numbers and that they may come back with a better offer. Anyone have any details on whether this is a real thing or not and what the new offer would entail?

they sent an email saying if you don't take the vsp, the next offer will be lower.

They met their number and above. There will still be a huge RIF/Reorg in OCT/NOV. You can count on that.
VZ doesn’t want to seem that weak where they need to beg people again so soon to please leave and take their money.
I expect the tiny correction in the market would make a second VSP pretty meaningless except for people who really regretted not taking it and they wouldn’t need any additional $$.
