Has any field technicians (lineman, Spicer installation maintenance) received an enhanced retirement package. If what states, and has anyone heard if New York is going to get one?

your union has a list. In Pa offers across the board various titles and locations. Looks limited and targeted.
If you truly have 35 years of service, unless you’re under 55 years of age or anre inept at managing your 401(k) chances are you are losing money coming to work.

I am a system tech. I was moved to construction 5 years ago. Last year they offered the package to construction techs in my office, but not to me because I'm a system tech. Now they offered the package to systems techs, but not to me because I report to a construction office. I'm not in the office they have offered the package to. I have called the union(local 2108)office 5 times. They keep saying someone will get back to me. It's been 2 weeks and I have not gotten a call back. It may be that I wont like what they have to say, lt may be they just dont want to do anything for me. I have supported the union 37 years. Yrs i have 37 years. I deserve a call back. This is why people leave the union.
To the 35 years, unless you started this job very young, don’t wait too long, you will end up spending your retirement going to Dr appointments and complaining about your aches and pains. Enjoy healthy early retirement and spend your money on you , let this kids and grandkids make their own.
Ain’t going anywhere- 35 years here. I’ll just keep tooling along providing top tier customer service and installing/repairing all of these disasterous products VZ keeps foisting on our poor customers. QAM tv train wreck? I’ll take your money. Cr-ppy, buggy routers? All day long. Ethernet runs on every job? No worries I got you right till 1030pm on double time. Storm damage repair because they refuse to maintain the outside plant ? Jam that $$$ in my wallet 🤣🤣🤣
