India management team is corrupt and is under no one’s control. India employees have committed huge and widespread expense frauds which has been hushed up by local management. Charlie and Scott don’t have a clue what it going on. WF India is the next scandal waiting to happen and it will be big when it blows up.
In 2011 98% of WF employees were based in the USA. Right now it's a out 73% and headed to 50 as soon as HY can pull it off. They won't stop there.
What were the counts over time?
There is a huge disparity at certain levels. There is also an expectation of advancement every couple of years. That is no longer sustainable. Also, once a little experience is gained, employees move to other banks paying higher wage. Resulting in high turnover. Think about this. Once the functions are fully dependent on non-US labor, will these folks continue to be satisfied with the very low wage?
Everyone including knows there is a cost vs quality trade off. Offshoring all jobs is an extreme and unfounded view. Look to peers to see how we will end up. If nothing else, wellls just copies chase and citi. No original ideas here.

All these middle managers, director level and one up tech executive making trips to India talking about how great it is not realizing the dotted line peer will be taking their jobs too in the next few years after the US jobs under them are gone.
Just rename the the bank to bank of India. Every freakin wells post and comments on LinkedIn are from India about India
