and let 4000 from splunk go who are redundant and baggage for Cisco.
If they close down CX, which is another 500. In some engg BU many groups are idle no work, no ROI, No sales ....easly knock off 2000. The net-net LR will be 6K to 8K plus if they get rid off few ELTs and directors with 0 to 4 reporting, Cisco will save lot of investors money and stock will hit 50

Chuck's exit strategy is to layoff 15% in August so Wall Street props up the stock and then he will resign end of Q2
15% is the current list that HR and legal are reviewing now so final number will be +/- depending on balancing young/old, age, minorities, etc to avoid lawsuits

It's not 15%, though it should be. They forced all the managers to sign an NDA. All of them are still leaking anyway, all over the entire org. I've heard it from a dozen different managers directly: "it's under NDA and we're not supposed to talk about it."

All of these mid management and bloated top heavy hierarchies how many people do you need to create a strategy?
15 percent is needed as long as it is in the right areas
