DEI = Dead End Indication. Focus on pronouns and not customer satisfaction or product quality. Glad I was there in their better times.
I was just a red badge, but damn, I'm glad I left earlier this year. I waited 2 years to be converted to a blue badge on a 6mo to hire gig. Upon my resignation they magically were able to get a rec open which I turned down. Best decision I ever made I think.

This has been an annual ritual for the past 20+ years, so after that if they still don't understand, they must be too gullible, or in total denial. If people want to continue working at Cisco, accept this as BAU, and stop stressing out.

i am not very high up in this sh-tshow of a company and i still know that long-term growth is a pipe dream. i have my ESPP set to auto-sell, i get my 15% and fu-k off to the bank with it because i know they'll blow any short-term gains.
we're certainly not going to innovate our way out of this when all the brightest engineers either already left or are scared for their jobs.

and we're not going to customer service our way out of this with sh---y outsourced support.
it's really funny seeing the news compare nvidia's surge to cisco's. in the same light, i'd compare cisco's decline to blackberry's. we have inertia for now, every move like this guarantees even that won't last for long.
