Anybody hear on the grapevine when the hire freeze in the Wexford office is set to end.. if end at all?

I hate BNY
The subject here in Wexford, but the affected sites are any in Europe with an Operations aspect to them except for Manchester, Dublin and Wroclaw.
Manchester and Wroclaw are the heir apparents or 'growth locations'
Dublin have blagged their way to an oversized office on the quays, rumor had it they are seeking gold plated taps and touch screens😉
For anyone in other locations do your 3 days in the office because if your exit isn't by your own accord a below model for in-office will suit Mgmt.
Definitely don’t feel safe. Just waiting for the day they start making heads roll by any means necessary.
“The reality is it will never end - its open warfare on the mental health of staff”
Amen. This sentence sums up BNY perfectly. Employees do not feel safe or on solid ground. It’s something to put up with not to grow with. Conversely, EC and management have a huge problem of their own making: No one believes them anymore. All the Peakons, Town halls and Mckinsey groups cannot bury that.
The reality is it will never end - its open warfare on the mental health of staff. The aim is to wear everyone down in offices like Edinburgh, Poole, Cork and Wexford. The MD's and Directors in Manchester, Dublin and London laugh and look down at staff in these sites.
The Dublin site securing a new landmark office on the quays is madness. The EC must have been asleep at the wheel to let this happen?
Dublin needs to stay open so some of their top tiers can keep their jobs while laying other locations off
Maybe Wexford employees will be moved to the new Dublin office like they are doing here in the US in some locations
Morale is rock bottom, the new CT leaders in Manchester and beyond are just waiting for attrition (these new leaders lack cajones).
New roles being filled in Dublin as well, just plain crazy! But the new behemoth of an office in Dublin needs filling?
I believe the UK are getting the corporate trust roles now instead of the Wexford site.
Don't know. Is the corporate trust department still ran with bare bones employees?
