Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Risk ….?

Speaking to a person that works in Pacific Northwest saying they have no strategy (?) will remain collecting nice paychecks.
Anyone else have insight? just curious

The location strategy applies to risk.

The Location strategy for Risk went out months ago. Do not remember it including any of those locations as specialty locations.

It’s been discussed they are hesitating on doing larger layoffs and waiting for people to quit or get fired. Lots of standards being tightened and a heavy emphasis on checking and maintaining attendance records.

Risk in the PNW is going away because Charlie doesn’t want any WFC presence in Oregon or Washington other than branches. Definitely by end of 2025 but more likely this year

Agreed @vym. I have no idea WTF OP is attempting to ask. My best guess is if anyone has any insight on layoffs for the PNW in risk. This explains a lot about some of our peers though, since they can barely form proper sentences it’s no wonder they don’t communicate well on calls.

Why do the crazy people on this site have such weird, stilted grammar?

I see a lot of LOBs in Tower that seem untouched by layoffs….guess my team was not so important
