Hybrid and Remote Jobs

Does exxon ever offer any Remote or hybrid jobs? I was looking at the website and there are barley any jobs on the site. Are they having a freeze?

The office jobs at my place require to be RTO 90% of the time. So.... it's barley hybrid.

@1efo I have no idea why people keep repeating this.

Again:

Jobs have been steadily outsourced since at least the 1990s, and the practice predates remote work as we currently know it.

Showing up at an office everyday does nothing to protect your job. It never has. Just ask the thousands of tech workers who complied with RTO mandates only to be told they were getting fired anyway.

Maybe you can apply with the new grain department—turning the barley profits into gasoline and fueling with fiber.

Thank you for proving Americans are poorly educated. India is a civilization >5000 years old who have survived and rebuilt after 100s of invasions for its wealth.

Majority of English money is Indian wealth. India will become rich again, but not at the coat of wiping millions of human beings and taking their land from them in the name of freedom. Please read history, and also some geography. Only reason why America is rich and safe is its geography and people to land ratio.

but in the end a blank, hollow, culutreless and purposeless lofe only made up by excessive work and then coming to an anonymous board to complain.

If you have courage speak in Public about your concerns on BTC and India. Yes India is low cost but the people you work with are more educated and learned than you ever will be.

You can work remotely two days a week if those days are Saturday and Sunday.

EM recruiting for Remote jobs in India. If a job can be performed remotely then it can be done in India for 20% of the cost and 20% of the quality.

Before you criticize me, just think if India got things right all the time, wouldn’t they have the same standard of living as the USA and therefore the same cost of living, and therefore the same salaries.

I don’t know if any hybrid or remote jobs. All signs are pointing towards increased surveillance to confirm people are not working from home and are at the office.

They have jobs at their remote brewery sweeping up the fallen "Barley" from the harvester if you don't mind sweeping.

ExxonMobil's hiring ONLY in India and second or third tier engineers and support people. It doesn't hire the top indian engineers from the IITs for example. Darren wants cheap people and nobody's cheaper than those that can't find a job elsewhere with a subpar and very questionable education. ONLY cheap, second or third tier graduates. It is laying off employees in what it calls HC10 (top 10 high cost countries like all of Europe, the US, Canada, Singapore, etc.) There aren't any remote jobs available. Everybody has to be in the office at the bare minimum during the so called "core hours" (8:30AM to 3PM) so employees attend meetings from their offices. OP keep looking for a job elsewhere. This corporation's dead. There's nothing left here.

Yes selective hiring and reducing head count by PIP and attrition to save Darren $3Billion per year in structural costs

@OP ExxonMobil has been among the most aggressive enforcers of RTO in the Houston area.

If you’re seeking flexible work arrangements, you need to look beyond Houston area oil and gas companies, as most of them have either forced everyone back to the office five days per week, or are planning to by the end of the year.

I currently have a fully remote job with minimal travel and I landed it by jumping to a different industry.
