Thread regarding Ford layoffs

My customer service dept had a 4 hour management meeting yesterday

And a 3 hour one this afternoon. Things cannot be good with all the recalls, terrible issues with Ford Pass an online account manager system. We cannot keep customer service reps due to all of this mess and they work from home. I think the big layoff is starting next week.

Well, you haven't made your case , so I assume you have a hair across your a$$ and are just lashing out and making up stories. I think if it was as bad as you make it sound, there would be something in the press concerning those issues. There may be isolated incidents, but that would be the extent of it. If you are a current employee, get back to work, if someone other than that, go away...

You have Ford employees going through this same vehicle mess. They wish they had not purchased a Ford product either.

This is on new vehicles. Customers are barely getting the vehicles off of the lot then needing a whole new engine, taking 5 and 6 months to get the vehicles fixed once they finally get the parts in the mean time customers still have to make pmts and in most cases are not getting a loaner. And if the customers are being sent a recall notice they are having issues getting the work and in some cases dealer trying to charge the customer, having a lot of customers calling wanting payoffs trading in with non Ford dealers as they want to be done with Ford. And this the vehicles. This is not all of the other issues they are upset about. The dealers are doing a horrible job but they really do not care since Ford is trying to eliminate dealers anyway.

I was not in the meetings but I know they were not reg planned meetings. They record everything. All they have to do is listen to how unhappy all of the customers are like with Ford Pass , Ford online account manager and how all the recalls, dealers and junk vehicles are causing a lot of trouble, dealers are not honoring warranties and are charging customers for recall work . It is terrible.
