I volunteered several weeks ago but still haven't heard anything
Never heard of a relesde weekend.
I want my 2 years termination pay entitlement.
“One thing I think of when I see posts like this is that the younger workers need to start pushing their work off to the pension eligible people. Let them work a relesde weekend, not you. Need someone to work Christmas? Should be one of the older people, not the ones with little kids. Make the decision easier for them and stop carrying their dead weight while you work like a servant.”
Congrats on thinking of something. I bet you are the 20th person to reply-to-all asking if you can be removed from an email list. lol
If you had volunteered with your manager, this would have already happened. Stop trolling.
“what a great place to work
people just waiting to get paid to leave.”
Welfare mentality employees is a problem T has had for decades.
you'll get nothing and like it
“ From what little I have seen it seems like the severance pay here is one of the better ones“
Not really accurate. Speaking to non-bargained (management), 6 months severance is low to average. Many corporations of this size offer better.
No. Get back down that manhole. Stank will close the lid.,

That’s pretty pathetic if you could be at a company 25 years and end up getting a months severance after being let go for no reason. But being pathetic is what T is best at.
Severance policy will change for sure. This is the last benefit they can take from us and they will. Stankey will tighten the belt until you lose your breath.
As a member of the July 9 layoff wave, I'm grateful for the six months severance I'll be receiving.
I'm sure Ole Stankey would love for everyone to quit and avoid the extra expense. So all who can just hold and get as much as you can.
“ They continue to change policies so, waiting you may end up getting a shrinking severance.”
From what little I have seen it seems like the severance pay here is one of the better ones. We tend to mimic other companies as far as lower costs at some point. This might last for awhile as it would be an extremely bad look at this point. However wouldn’t surprise me to see that threat closer to the end of the year. “Get your 6 months now because it’s going to be reduced after the first”.
For the C suite we hope
One month severance packages are on the way.
show me the money/severance!
