Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Why does WF protect bad & unethical managers?

I've heard of numerous first hand accounts of people reporting their managers for unethical & unprofessional behavior. I know of a manager that at least 3 people have made SERIOUS complaints about. They are still here. Why does WF protect these managers?

WF executives and managers are not leaders, they are nothing but "politicians". You know how politicians conduct business.

When Carrie T was indicted for the fake customer account scandal, strangely, some WF managers defended her. I wouldn't be surprised if they were sleeping with her.

Because Wells Fargo has never actually cared about ethics and legality so long as it doesn't cost them more money than they gained from the unethical/illegal behavior.

I reported a person who was super aggressive and threw a chair at me. My manager had a big a-s book that was treating her as a bad manager and she had to read that book everyday. Back in Stumf days, She’s now in a little house in Arizona, so I’m glad that she is just living a little now.

We need to report every unethical manager to the regulators and punish them.

Wells Fargo is an old fashioned plantation, a slave factory. The criminal executives and managers are brainwashing and exploiting naive hardworking employees.

Wells Fargo leaders are good actors. They smile, talk friendly and pretend like they are good guys. But they are mostly psychopaths and always plotting to do some damage.

Birds of a feather flock together and the old boys' club members stick together. Wells Fargo is like a mafia organization, they recruit the same kind of evil beings from other organizations and train them to be a super villain.

Wells Fargo is a poorly run firm that has an asset cap and other restrictions. It also is the only major bank with a union. So, no surprises that it is flawed. My goal is for the bank to be broken up and the brokerage to be merged into JP Morgan. Meanwhile, Charlie Scharf is useless and should be fired.

I have no idea! WF has some good mgrs and I simply don’t understand HR for allowing unprofessional mgrs to remain in their roles

I haven't figured it out. Managers that exhibit unethical & unprofessional behavior put the firm at risk of litigation, reputational risk, and negatively impacts productivity. The cost of a lawsuit or any bad press far outweighs the value of a rotten manager.
