Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Calm before the Storm.. mandatory employees PTO burning, next comes?

LR list is being worked right now, for October announcement. No one should be surprised with this twice annual rituals that shrinks people after rolling off folks from merger, but mainly the Cisco folks that are seriously affected.

July fourth week is a mandatory week off at Cisco. So it is a perfect example of a calm before the storm. Hang in tight.

I concur SBG is so toxic
We want a platform but don't compensate individual contributors to foster the platform or teamwork
The leadership is bloated add little value too far removed from the front line

SBG seem like a dying animal, better to male tough decisions now and put it out of its misery to move on

"My manager in SBG hinted about deep cuts coming in SBG in July. Won't be surprised if it's around 10%"

SBG is so messed up. The SBG cuts should include leaders, directors and above as most of them are completely incompetent and useless.
