"People that are still TW are coded that way because in all likelihood there IS no office for them to badge into 3 days a week."

They have a designated work address in webphone they drive to once a month, yes?? Hmm. Get ready to make a choice..

" This designation is assigned to people with good connections. No one that I know of with this designation is any better or as critical than his or her co-workers with an FTO designation"

^^^^ Here's one of those angry/jealous people I was talking about ^^^^^^^^^

I didn't see anyone, at any point, suggest that someone that still has a TW is "better" or more important than any of their peers. In some cases, maybe; in other cases, I am sure maybe not.

In most cases, they are people that are too far from any office to comply with the RTO plan that was rolled out. In most cases, that would be through no fault of their own as well, because the rules changed on them after they had already been in their position for some time.

Poor performers in the above situation are probably already gone.

Those that remain are probably valuable, contributing team members; that said, their numbers will also likely come up at some point.

This designation is assigned to people with good connections. No one that I know of with this designation is any better or as critical than his or her co-workers with an FTO designation. Complete BS justifications. Just tie the Director and AVP bonuses to percentage of TW workers in the team and you will see everyone at FTO. Heck, we have people at a hub location with TW designation! Go figure

" If you really believe TW are not replaceable, you're delusional."

No where in my other posts did I say this. All I am saying is that as a matter of practicality, they are not going to one day state "lay off all of the TW's". It's not going to happen that way.

What we're also seeing here is what has been seething right beneath the surface here for a while now, with some people that were forced back into a commute to an office actually angry with those that are still here and still TW.

Well, I guess we can see how it goes. My AVP said that virtual headhunt will start during wave 2.5. That’s in about a week

“If you really believe TW are not replaceable, you're delusional.”

If you really think someone in a technical role has to be in an office to be irreplaceable you’re delusional.

Whoever suggested those who are TW “hawk tuah” and those who upvote that comment…jealousy is a very ugly thing and yours is showing. Learn how to write a better business case instead of implying favors were exchanged for an occupancy indicator.

People with TW status know how to hawk tuah.

"Read between the lines!!"

I get that. But the company is still not in a position to simply layoff everyone that has a TW designation. Yes, some will be given the RTO Dallas mandate, and they will force the hand that way. But there are still a lot of TW employees that are supporting critical initiatives. They're not going to simply lay all of them off at once. And they can't tell all of them to "RTO" when there is no "O".
