Can we finally get rid of some fat among incompetent and useless management? Pls? Not that it would change much or save this place before it’s too late, but at least we lowly workers wouldn’t feel like we carry the brunt of consequences for decisions we didn’t make. Like c’mon. For once?

Management only report their accomplishments and ICs never get credit. When it is time for LRs the ICs don’t stand a chance.
How about some ICs that are worth what they get paid? You can't get rid of a large % because of the protections DEI provides. Another large portion has over estimated their technical abilities as well. Tenure does not mean competence or deserving of a promo/raise.
Not gonna happen. We are masters at building the reverse pyramid where bosses are layers upon layers..upon layers... Where most of them deserve a place in he-l in one of dante's circles. (The latter is an opinion, the first part is fact)
