Prime Com to buy IHX channel

Prime Communications Acquires IHX Channel from AT&T: A Strategic Expansion

In a significant move within the telecommunications sector, Prime Communications has finalized the acquisition of the IHX channel from AT&T. This acquisition includes the transfer of all assets and employees associated with IHX, marking a pivotal moment in Prime Communications' growth strategy.

### Strengthening Market Presence

Prime Communications, known for its robust presence in the wireless retail industry, has strategically chosen to expand its operational footprint through this acquisition. By integrating the IHX channel into its existing framework, Prime aims to enhance its service capabilities and customer reach. This strategic alignment is expected to bolster Prime Communications' position in the competitive telecommunications market.

### Operational Integration

As part of the acquisition, all former IHX assets and employees will transition under the Prime Communications banner. This integration not only signifies a continuity of service but also brings onboard a wealth of experience and expertise. Customers can expect a seamless transition as Prime Communications absorbs and optimizes the operational efficiencies of the newly acquired channel.

### Enhanced Service Offerings

One of the notable developments following the acquisition is Prime Communications' commitment to improving service delivery. Each Prime store will now feature a semi-dedicated employee for dispatches, ensuring swift and efficient handling of customer needs. This enhancement aims to streamline operations and provide customers with enhanced responsiveness and support.

### Geographic Responsiveness

To further optimize service delivery, Prime Communications will implement a geographic circumference model for dispatch intake across its stores. This strategic approach ensures that dispatch requests are handled promptly within designated areas, minimizing response times and maximizing customer satisfaction. By decentralizing dispatch operations, Prime Communications underscores its commitment to operational agility and localized service excellence.

### Future Outlook

Looking ahead, Prime Communications anticipates leveraging the synergies derived from this acquisition to drive continued growth and innovation. The expanded capabilities and resources obtained through the IHX channel acquisition position Prime Communications to adapt swiftly to evolving market dynamics and customer preferences.

### Conclusion

Prime Communications' acquisition of the IHX channel from AT&T represents a pivotal moment in its strategic expansion efforts. With a focus on enhancing service offerings and operational efficiency, Prime Communications is poised to redefine customer experiences within the telecommunications industry. As the integration progresses, stakeholders can anticipate a seamless transition and a strengthened market presence for Prime Communications in the years to come.

And have many retail stores performing better than company owned stores.

Selling fiber/wireless is not complicated

This is the most bogus article I have ever seen on this site! Anyone that has a simple understanding of how such a move would work would understand how far fetched this article is.

I asked a manager of IHX and they said that there is no truth in Prime buying their department. I was told that Prime has their own IHX department In certain areas. This buyout rumor is rubbish.

Former, let go IHX - Post ID: @zfm+1tkB5p7M
I'd totally be down as I there things in motion on my end as well.
I was misinformed and after 15 years with the company let go due to some ignorance of the management or maybe they just wanted me gone. More likely the latter.
Personally enjoyed the channel and didn't have to lie beg or steal to meet the dashboard.
I wish all well still with this trash heap of a company and hope whatever pieces survive people make a living out of it.

"This acquisition includes the transfer of all assets and employees associated with IHX"
Does this strategy work for stores with CWA employees?

Planning for upcoming store closures/sale.

I'd like to see acctual documents stating this to be true. This is extreme. Prime buying rights to do their own Version sounds more realistic. This has already happened in a few markets. 2 years ago bluelink tried, Unsurprisingly, to no avail.

1 problem. AT&T CAN NOT sell or share customer data for sales purposes. They literally would have to sell uverse in order for them to legally provide customers cellular network information also known as CPNI in order for the operation to continue. With AT&T it’s assumed and outside AT&T they need customers consent. AT&T would be sued by prime for a substantial amount of money for misrepresenting profitability. Very interesting for sure.

It will be interesting if these IHX sellers will be allowed to continue their unethical sales practices when they move to PrimeCom, and if T compliance will give them the same scrutiny for 0 use lines, false churn, and account credit requests that they are doing in acquisition, and mid markets.

This is good news! Former IHX from So Cal and this channel is terrible. They lie and cheat just to make sales. Oh by the way for the current employees, don’t forget that you get an extra day off this week for the holiday. They try to make you win a sales contest to take your extra day off that is per policy. As a salaried employee, you are entitled to a in lieu of day if you’re working on the 4th. I’ve already reached out to an attorney to be the class representative for a class action.

This is probably fake news. Prime can't staff their stores. They're on the verge of closing 25% of their stores. Only a matter of time until they're bankrupt.

“ It's completely absurd that ATT wants me to drive to a store and pay a fee to someone to set up my new phone.”

That’s on you. My last 2 phones I ordered online and set up myself in 20 minutes.

With the things they do - that transition is right up their alley. There is no assimilation, they pretty much prime it up as it is.

Supposed review of their job from one of their reps.
“ Work crazy hours no two consecutive days off and holidays are not off. The management is terrible and the teams are always on different pages when it comes to policy. The pay is alright you hear of people making over 100k but in reality you’re selling cell service and fiber things that the customer can obtain on their own. If you’re fresh out of college this might be a good start for you in sales.”
