Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Worked here for 4 years, time to go for greener pastures

I started looking for a job while still here. I had several job offers, most of them better than what I have in Intel, some offering far better pay and benefits. I made a choice last week, and I’m sealing the deal now. God knows how it will turn out, but just scouting for jobs gave me a new perspective and I realized that staying in Intel is no longer an option. Good luck guys, and big thanks to those colleagues who made my time in Intel a good experience.

A lot of rich dinosaurs riding it out destroyed the company - who hired people from the third world because they would not compete against them.
Rot above and rot below propped up by you guessed it government bailouts.
Go capitalism where you can bribe who you need to.

Anyway, this post is fraudulent. The economy is in the sh----r.
If intel was so bad, why would people hire employees from it.
They would just be bringing the cancer into their own company.

Smart move. I don't think anyone who plans to have a future career would stay at Intel. Paul Otellini, RIP set the company on the downward path engineering wise and that BK guy wiped out manufacturing. They will need a near death experience/revival like AMD had over a decade back.

A lot of rich dinosaurs riding it out destroyed the company.

But on the positive side if someone is talented enough to contribute to a turnaround and not get 'CPM'ed' first, they may end up rewarded greatly.
