Unions file lawsuit against Philadelphia for mandating that full-time city workers return to the office

Fos Business News-Mayor Cherelle Parker announced in May that city employees must return to working in office starting July 15 or risk losing their jobs. District Council 47 of The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, representing 6000 employees filed the suit. Why can't our hard working CWA help us out??

If I need to see the city clerk, should I be expected to knock on her front door of her residence so she has the luxury of WFH?

CWA works for the C Suite not the members, when are you going comprehend that ? Bye bye benefits and job security.

Cwa has been compromised .that is why we have lost some major benefits such as Healthcare costs.

Don't think they have any grounds, so there's that. Waste of money.

'Cause "hard-working CWA" is an oxymoron, and there's no good reason NOT to go into the office.

Unless it’s in their contract, they’re just wasting union money. Lawsuit will go nowhere.

A CWA lawsuit against AT&T for forcing people to return to the office wouldn't go anywhere.

It is no coincidence that many public and private executives have decided everyone needs to be physically present in an office instead of working from home. I don't know the source, but word has gone out to get butts back in chairs across the country...or else.
