Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Inventory

So in COR stores in the South it’s hard as you know what to get inventory! But yet ATT still using FedEx! Not a day goes by that stuff is not being stolen from the boxes before delivery! Over 8mths this has been going on and yet not one thing has changed! But yet ATT report it lost $20billion last year to fraud and theft!
I mean literally they have a special system n place name to take pics of the boxes etc.

Big investigation going on right now

Managers/reps using order track to locate delivery’s and have people steal packages from customer homes.

Doubt if making customers drive to a COR store to pick up a phone is a good marketing strategy in the world we live in today. I often wonder where those stores are that some say are so busy. Not in my neighborhood. Have dropped by a couple in the past year and when I walked in I was the only customer there. And not just AT&T. You can drive by a Verizon store and only 3-4 cars in their parking lots. Apple seems to be the only store that you have to typically wait to see a rep.

Kinda like the trade in devices that customers are not getting their credits for. The third party that picks up the devices from the post office cherry picks what they want, and replaces the devices with sub par phones. Then when the " trade in " device arrives a warehouse, well we all know, there goes the trade in credit. All just to save a buck or someone in corp got kickbacks in order to get this contract for a 3rd party to pick up devices. Leave it to us to sc--w up a normal process.

Dang! I had read where in the data leaks / hacking of AT&T systems thieves were exploiting tracking info and/or order information to intercept known device shipments before arriving to the customer.

Makes sense the same vulnerabilities might also allow those scoundrels to track larger shipments for example to an COR store and steal those too.

We are purposefully imploding. I don’t understand why. I’ve noticed some similar related procedures and policies on this inventory topic that is costing the company tremendous amounts of money. It doesn’t make sense unless you start looking at it as some level of purposeful internal sabotage. Once some of this is viewed through those goggles it makes sense. But it still doesn’t answer why or to what motivation are these new procedures and policies in place to tank the company.
