Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

AT&T Business is failing

Our business sector is failing very badly right now. Employees are taught to make the customer add lines and not give them the option. ( saying oh it lowers the bill is why you have to do it). Cases on the back end don’t get completed customers have to call back 15x times before something gets resolved. In store reps add insurance and next up w out permission. Terrible promotions.( promotions never apply properly) terribly outdated systems and terrible developers on all fronts. It’s all falling down hill as we speak. When will it all end?

Our retail stores are horrid. Even time you go in, they’ll add insurance, next and whatever else they can think of. Even if you explicitly state no insurance and no next, it’ll still be added. Then even if you speak to the AM of the store, they’ll shrug it off with an “oh well”.

I would never step foot into one of our stores. Mail order only.

I can’t even begin to tell you how many people I ask “what kind of business do you have” when their account populates, they respond “I don’t have a business!”…..

Sole prop when customers don’t have one. Crazy.

After being slammed I was told they can’t remove next for 14 days so they’ll call me back. Of course they don’t call you back. When you finally remember and get it removed they code it buyers remorse. I told the sales rep not to add it in the first place 5 times. I asked the wireless rep if there’s a box they have to check when a customer complains of this so the sales rep could be “re trained” she said there is not. That is the moment I knew for certain. Management is essentially pushing them to slam our customers. Since that day I sold all my shares and always sell my match as often as possible. Att is pushing fraud.

Wait a second, that pretty much sums up an average day in the store. So what's wrong with that ? You created the monster, we just live it.

This conflicts with a previous post a few days saying that things are improving.

I am going to go a bit deeper and wider here than the standard troll fodder. The problem is from the top all the way down to the front line manager there are a pile of id--ts. What I mean is that managers were promoted that know nothing about the market, competitors or how to have a business conversation. They were promoted because they know a lot about AT&T processes and a-s kissing regiment, which frankly no one beyond AT&T gives a sh-t about. It’s a culture built off of the Peter principle.

Have you reported this activity to the FTC? If not you are no different than your employer. You love your check more than being an honest person.

Business sales is wrought with fraud…it’s accepted at the director level on up. Northeast is the model.
