If I didn't have a family to support, I'd be gone by now.

I remember “Thin skinned Gerald” Hassle who liked to call employees directly to argue about comments in the supposedly anonymous Employee Engagement Survey. It got to the point where our whole aisle was trying to tweak him. We would gather around the speaker phone for the festivities. What a tool.
You are not ALONE
Is it even possible to support a family on BNY salary??
Same 100% They need to read these posts and stop sending peakon surveys!
It is not you. You are human and you have a sense of commitment and responsibility to your family. This place has figured out how to take advantage of your work ethic and warp it into some grotesque DEI and cost cutting playdoh construct. They know they have you by the short hairs and they want you to quit. It’s an illusion and you can’t let it define you. What’s sad is that work should be fun and something you want to be part of. This place is more like that movie ‘Deliverance’ and Sr. Mgmt are the mountain men.
You’re not alone and before RTP bully strikes: I have always met my requirements, exceeded expectations but am miserable. It’s not you. It’s this place.
Hi, as someone that left earlier this year - please, please take care of yourself. Utilize your health benefits to your advantage. I used all my coaching and mental therapist sessions before leaving and I saw every specialist I had kept putting off to the side. Guess what? I needed surgery - gallbladder removal. I was not well on so many other levels. Also note, if your therapist/physician deems necessary, you may be given time off work. While you may think 1 month or so goes by quickly, it will really help you put things into perspective. Burn out is no joke. You are more important than any operating model / business growth initiative on this planet.
