US will never eliminate H1B even if unemployment rate increase drastically (double digits). That's because they need the inflow of talent. US kids aren't learning much with all the distraction from the use of mobile phones while in school. They are either playing video games or are watching tiktok videos. They can't even find enough technicians or engineers to work in the new manufacturing chip fabs even with 100k pay in salary. Gov't can throw money at the problem hence the "chip act" but not enough talent to do the job. They will always need H1Bs or any foreign educated visa holder who is willing to work in USA.

HCLosers. Soon the US will eliminate H1B. Then they will put a heavy tax on US companies that outsource jobs and give significant tax cuts to US companies who employ American workers. VZ can decide whether they want to be an American company or an Indian company.

Not entirely true. More than likely almost everyone who transitioned over from Verizon will be gone in the near future, but no firm dates were given & it was alluded to that at the very least everyone will be around until November 1st. It will likely come down to how quickly your replacement gets up to speed. This shouldn’t really come as a shocker as everyone was basically given a one year offer letter when they came over.
