Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

What’s the point?

Beyond leadership and stock owners' bottom line, what’s really the point? It doesn’t seem that individual performance matters. Nobody cares about mgmt competence. Nobody is proud to be a part or a lead of a successful team. Nobody is trying to make a team successful. Complex but shallow processes are there just as a cover for cr-ppy business. For how long can this last?

Step #1 in dealing with a bad relationship is acknowledging the problems.

Step #2 normally involves a conversation with your other half, but the bank is never showing up.

So now what?

Look out for numero uno. Monitor stress, protect your health, learn something new on the company dime/time. Collect paychecks and only look forward.

Everyone would prefer a vastly improved work experience at WF and would gladly jump at the chance to contribute and do better. To make other banks envy our situation. Yet leadership is clearly saying what is most important is reducing costs and sipping expensive drinks w/ peer banks. Since this won't change for the foreseeable future, we are tasked with discovering our capabilities under prolonged adversity.

So knowing that’s the case just ride it out. Understand they will get rid of you if it will save them $2 per year. There is no loyalty. The point is to enjoy your life snd all that’s in it. Your job is to fix widgets for a set amount of money- no more no less.

FHY. I'll give the next CEO a chance, Shart and his team of liars and theives? No. I'm done with that POS and won't read or listen to anything he puts out ever again.
