Lay off call today?

I heard rumors that there is a layoff call happening today, not sure who/when is being affected, but people have been mentioning it. Does anyone know?

California WARN lists 56 positions eliminated in San Ramon HUB on 8/24, so 7/24 notification is likely.

Don't worry, CSO has over 100 job reqs open, 95%+ of which are in India. Cheap labor where people will do anything for a bag of rice and a 3 legged goat is bound to improve our security posture!

Not today. Wait till 7/24 where another round of layoff notifications will be sent according to a calendar.

"Don’t know about Layoffs, but the should F I R E the IT people in charge of data integrity and data security."

I wonder if ATT can even fire those 3rd party vendors that we farm out our security to? I wonder what the contract states?

ZERO accountability for anything. The VPs in CSO will all still receive a big bonus. It's bleeping ridiculous.

The CSO, CTO, and COO of AT&T should be fired, or at the very least resign, for their failed polices. They failed to protect the personal information of AT&T's customers. These policies are resulting in a financial loss to the company due to system outages and information system breaches. They also are failing to maintain fiduciary responsibilities to the shareholders.

There should be based on news across the media this morning! Rather than a call, security should be escorting groups of employees out the door.

The CSO should be the first person laid off.
