Standard RIF package vs VSP

Anyone know what the standard RIF package is for Band 6 compared to VSP? I’m hearing 2wk/yr vs 3wk but is STI or stock together usually included too?

People RIFed recently were notified with the option to take an ESP, so same package. It's sad but not surprising to see verizon rebranding again and continuing to go down the tubes. Wireless is about price and verizon is about price/value customer confusion, so it's not a fixable situation.

Another difference is eligibility for unemployment benefits (in most states anyway) and if you are part of a RIF, you are eligible. If you take the VSP, you are not.

2 weeks/year, max 35 weeks, prorated STI, accelerated stock vesting.
Only difference between the two, is the nbr of weeks/year severance.
If you are considering taking the standard to allow you to be rehireable, I'd encourage you to reconsider. The likelihood is slim to none.

If you work for Verizon, look it up on the website.
