Sambar is easily fooled by decks that pretend there’s ROI and good decisions being made.
He has no idea how still over staffed his org is. He allows a large % of remote workers to each VP with no explanation other than VPs saying “unique talent” and needed.
He is afraid to force people to move so he also has VPs all over the place thus the reason for the cuts at lower levels.
Need him to cut from above not just the little guys.

“Get everything in the cloud”, they said. “It’ll be great”, they said.

Legg, Marcus, Sambar, and their multiple direct reports who refused to speak up and challenge their leadership when these continual architecture changes and ‘radical shifts’ were proposed. Shame on Global Supply Chain (yes Susan Johnson!) for pushing the narrative of bountiful savings with cloud migration in pretty decks so they could show the amazing benefits of dropping Teradata for the shiny toy Snowflake! This was bound to happen!!!
