its becoming morbid in the office just waiting your turn, RTO is a big goal and one fail and you will be let go. Then no unemployment for being fired for cause for a rule violation

I wonder that too. Seriously, I pray every single day to be laid off with severance and not fired. That infamous clause, "one can be let go with or without cause." These days I just pray and try to keep my nose clean and do my job until it is no more job for me here. 😥
It was much more than 254 on the original WARN notice when the site received their pre-notice in September. Makes you wonder how many were let go between then and now to avoid severance payout.
