Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Had an awful and dishonest new manager

I decided to go on extended medical leave while I looked for other opportunities and then quit. As a decorated employee with decades of service, I felt that I had no realistic options on blowing the whistle or escalating.

I have seen that happen too. I think it’s in part due to pressure to produce fake reviews.

I love the downvoting. They don't realize that the OP is a stoop and posted his dishonesty here.

THAT my friends, is what is wrong with these kids. They don't even comprehend the issue before downvoting because, well, that is all they know how to do.

Sad.

Dishonest manager? You are also dishonest. Pretend to be sick to look for a job. Pot calling kettle black

So many had employees will tell you how good they are. Faking for extended medical leave is not what a decorated employee does.

You decided to go on extended medical leave while you looked for other opportunities and then quit, but it was your manager that was "dishonest"?

You aren't entitled to collect a paycheck to look for a new job while others do your work and can't hire a replacement until you leave.

I am sure your manager didn't like you either and is relieved that you are gone.

I almost did the same thing due to my old boss then got another role in totally opposite group with no contact ever.
Life now is good!👍

You gave the company what it wanted. Saved the company money on severance pay. Made it easy on the company.

Now the company needs all of these other people to quit.

It doesn’t a genius to identify poor managers, just get to know the talent that works for them. One way or another, they’ll give you the signals.
