So guys on the otherside of the river are claiming they heard that there maybe a eisp package offered in September off payroll by November.I mean can anyone that actually knows anything actually just tell us .Its rediculious that its like a waiting game slash hunger games.We know they want people off payroll !!!! starting to think that theres some truth to the fact they cant offer a packaged while hiring.Maybe they really do just want guys to kick the bucket rather pay them to leave

Eisp is coming to union members. I'm hearing Aug announcement, off payroll Sept 30th. Dates could be different for different states.
A 4 and 4 would be awesome! It would get so many pensioners off the payroll. I would definitely be gone as I have 26 years.

I was told by my director the rumors are not true.
Contract extension AND no surplus for 1 year after signing.
Basically they are being forced to hire because of the contract extension not because they really need people so yes they can declare a surplus and offer an eisp it just matters if the union wants to fight it or not
if they are hiring per contract extension ,they cannot offer a package.so its all rumors

Yes, this is true for landline. Something must be up, Verizon has not offered a package in years. Supervisors package is August and techs package in September.

There is one. Off 9-29. Very targeted and very limited. They’re hand picking who the want gone. Seems to be how they’re doing it now. I’ve seen them offer 1-2 packages per crew on a selective basis.
Can’t offer when they are hiring.
They can contractually offer one per year, and this year has not been offered yet. Hang in there, in the meantime, drink water and keep installing those FIOS loop$.

The rumor is a 4 + 4. No known date given at this time. Possible to happen in 2025. The rationale is to get as many pension eligible employees off the payroll. Hard to believe any of this but am passing on what is being talked about. Didn’t believe we would see another VSP but here we are.
