Will they be releasing people from the top down starting with age oldest/years of service first, regardless. This is what is on our offer and FAQ - I am hearing now it doesn’t matter, older 50+ tenured person on high profile job stays, younger on BAU goes. Anyone hear this?

The only decision you make is to push the button or not. Some groups they’d probably take 100% others somewhat less. If they really wanted people to stay we wouldn’t be eligible.
It doesn't matter. They are looking at roles and functions (and in some cases geography), not age and service.
This targets older, higher paid employees by design. They can't RIF that demographic easily so we do VSP instead.
No, all go. Nobody is that important.
Someone who probably doesn’t even know we exist or at least doesn’t know what we do will make the decisions so no worries.
