This is already abysmal....I counted the times AI was said in the first 10 minutes at 32 times...

Not sure what all of you are expecting. LC has a degree in chemistry and an MBA. She doesn’t have any technical or engineering background whatsoever.

Plus she is on the board of Daimler Benz, so it’s tough to find time to write speeches.

Liz isn’t Fran’s friend, she’s Chuck’s. It’s Chuck that keeps giving her opportunities to fail at.

Double minority plus post-medical plus whatever blackmail she has on the company.

The real question is how LC has survived this long at Cisco. Outside of being a Friend of Fran, there's literally no evidence that she's accomplished anything to help the company enter new growth markets.

Maybe being a Friend of Fran is all that's required to keep a senior executive job at Cisco?

Liz is amazingly articulate, we are so lucky to have her. There are so many other tech companies that are just sick that she doesn't drive their strategy. Genius level.

Nothing of value. Everyone looked disheveled. There was nothing new. Nothing innovative. No new strategy. I was laughing because Lavanya presented like she was coming up with new ideas about adoption. Liz doesn't have an innovative bone in her body and she demonstrated that when she was in engineering.

HEY CHUCK!!! I'M NOT SEEING IT OVER HERE! LOOKS LIKE YOU'VE GOT ANOTHER DUD!

Useless Chuck was on the golf course again and missed the call

One gets the feeling she is taking advice from the useless bobble head VP’s. You know the ones that followed the last couple of leaders, refusing to acknowledge the problems, told people to be quiet or be fired. Yea those leaders, they are still here, still clueless and still ruthless.

Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train" Lyrics predicted the rise of "ai", decade ago:

All aboard! Ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaa!

ai, ai, ai, ai, ai, ai, ai...

Crazy, but that's how it goes
Millions of people living as foes

Maybe it's not too late
To learn how to love and forget how to hate

Mental wounds not healing
Life's a bitter shame

I'm going off the rails on a crazy train
I'm going off the rails on a crazy train

I tried to watch it too. I’m an engineer and I learned utterly zero from that pile of sh-t. It is cringeworthy. No wonder this company is fu---d with those clowns in charge.

If there was a mention of a product, a GTM motion, some launch of capabilities to make partnership with Nvidia, AMD, Intel better for customers, service offerings to help customers deploy clusters, a new training series on how traditional DC networks perform poorly with AI needs, and how new models will train partners on the methods to allow Ethernet to outperform InfiniBand (yes - it does), Integrations with Base Command, UFM, SLURM, etc. Performance optimization for AI... then perhaps Cisco would be invited to customer conversations on AI. While ELT is talking about how to intelligently and securely move into AI, most customers are either already started, deployed, or finalizing plans. Cisco is not present in any of these discussions.

This was such an awesome company with so many great individuals - at least I still get to work with those individuals almost all at other relevant companies.

It was flat out awful....everything we do at this company so high-level...there is no digging deep on how we are going to actually enact change

Cisco has perfected the failure to effectively engage in market transitions. After missing cloud, security, etc., they now just hand wave with the appropriate buzzwords and watch the market run away from them.

Our Chief Strategy Officer is simply playing her role in the next big market miss.
