Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

accommodations team

Has anyone dealt with a consultant that won’t answer emails or calls. I’ve sent out 3 emails and have gotten zero response. She sends out an invite to speak on the phone at her available time, i moved my schedule around and when i called no response. Pinged and emailed and again no response. Not sure how to move forward with someone who seems is doing it on purpose. Any advice??

Search the internal directory, find out who she reports to and send them an email. Include your receipts and ask to be transferred to another consultant. Sometimes you have to be petty to get a response.

"It's not what you know it's who you know especially if you are white."

I didn't realize B of A was not implementing quotas or not practicing DEI.
I am also happy to hear that all the other non-diverse countries are now hiring Caucasians. Good to know.

Oh wait, your full of BS.

I can tell you from experience they will not ignore you, there are legal ramifications, but as others have said they are swamped. From start to finish I had more than one rep. Don't pester them with unnecessary emails. And honestly the word is spreading for people who actually need MA, me being one. I had no idea and found out from someone else on this forum, it was life changing. I'm sure be flamed for that but no one here wants my life.

I told you mutherfockas this bank doesn't give a rats azz about you. They are basically hiring high school drop outs for some roles in this bank. I also found there are a lot of leaders in this company with a high school education and act like they are the shlit. It's not what you know it's who you know especially if you are white.

Next time you email, pour your heart into it. Explain, with dates and times of those emails being sent that you have done everything to the letter and am not receiving any answers. Cross all your T’s and dot your “I’s” on everything. Make sure you copy in managers, yours, theirs, right up the chain of command. (find it in Flagscape) I also hope you are sending yourself a blind cc so you have records of everything.

Just a side note, someone from my team has been waiting since February.

I've heard they are waaaayyyy behind. One colleague took 11 months, another 14 months.

Others have been quicker. Guess it depends on the rationale and completeness of dcumentation, group, manager (and THEIR manager), etc.

But they were premitted to WFH during the Review process.

Busiest job at BofA!!!

(I'm not in the dept or role, but estimating (only anecdotally be me and numerous managers, peers and junoirs who are clamouring for Accommodation), this has got to be the busiest thankless job at the Bank these days.

And probably h8ed on as much as IRS and Airline employees.

Knowing the Bank as well as I do, I'd bet my next paycheck (heck, even two) that the colluding Management and HR heads have Intentionnally UNDERHIRED and UNDER RECRUITED for this role.
