I have 2 friends In real life and 2 work friends that I see more than my real friends. Actually even more than my family cause we are all modern day s l a v e s.
Nobody is friends with you because you can't spell....
Agree, my org now is awful, nobody wants to help anyone. RTO makes it worse, you have to see these fake people in person.

I have some work friends. I had some years ago I used to play halo with some nights after work. My old team people would volunteer to work unpaid nights and/or weekends to help their coworkers.
I wouldn’t trust very easily anymore. Most people especially in my new group would throw anyone under the bus in a second and won’t help anyome unless it benefits them.

Depends on the organization. I’ve been in a few different ones. Some have been great and I’ve met awesome people. Made lifelong friends. My current group is the absolute worst. The culture is toxic and I would not trust a single person including my boss. It really is ashame this used to be a great company but when you start to hire mo--ns and begin to micromanage that’s what happens. I pray my boss takes the VSP

Wow that’s so negative. I’ve made life long friends from people I’ve met at VZ. If you find the problem is that you can’t trust anyone you meet, then maybe you should look inward.
