"The S&P index is up 44% for the last 2 years. Ya big d-u-m-m-y. "

This responder only mentions "for the last 2 years" then calls me a d-u-m-m-y.

face palm Dead weight? They’ve outsourced out the a$$ and enacted a RTO policy to shed employees who couldn’t uproot their lives to move to the sh!tholes of Atlanta, CA, or Dallas ( although arguably not a sh!t hole like the other two), outsourced all L&D to a VA company that mostly subcontracts out of India. 400 “deadweights”, all to see, what, a dollar increase in stock price? Those that survived the purge are training their cheaper replacements. The product is less reliable, the customer service abysmal, have been hacked twice to the detriment of even those of us who left all ATT nonsense behind years ago, and now another data leak with a bs apology? Two major outages and another lame apology? Compare your laughable $19 to VZN and TMO. What a dummy.

A disgraceful post, please get your nose out of Big John's a$$! If that's you, John, then you really need to take a closer look at yourself! This company is in a major tailspin that it just can not pull out of! The ground is getting closer!

Stop complaining about stock price and just pick a better performing stock. You can't complain your way to success. Or can you?

Thankyou Big John for your leadership.
For helping us get rid of dead weight.
For helping us get rid of out of towners with their dogs.
For helping us do agreements with Blackrock.
For helping us get rid of DirecTV.
For helping us get rid of Time Warner.
For helping us focus on Fiber and Mobility.
For helping us get rid of benefits for elderly boomer workers and push them out of company.
Great job Big John. Keep doing it. Renew this company. Get rid of unions.

What happened since Jan 2020 when stock was $29.56? Now is only $19.15.
TMUS stock was $77.16 in Jan 2020 and now is $183.56. Was there a stock split for T, or is it reverse growing trend.? Why according to Stankey we are doing well? Who is dummy here?

If you invested at the nadir last summer you would have done well. Everyone else has taken a bath for the 25 years (hence why I get rid the AT&T shares fund as quickly as I can). The leaders care more about attendance than innovation.

OP: help C-Suite out and speed the revival; quit now without severance or vesting.

VZ at $42
T-Mobile at $183

I’m not excited about $19 when our competitors stock price far exceeds ours. It will take a miracle for the stock to catch VZ within the next 5 years.

" Big deal. Anyone who gets excited about this has only been with AT&T or held T stock for a year or two."

Anyone "who gets excited about this" is a complete zi-------d.

The S&P index is up 44% for the last 2 years. Ya big d-u-m-m-y.

OP, go ahead and buy the stock. Let’s us know how it goes.

By the way, DOW is up 1200 the last week T is up .29 the last week. Save your HIMS chews, this isn’t anything to get excited about.

" If you bought $10,000 of T in 2004 know what you would have today? $9700."

And to expound, since there are so many simpletons here that probably have all of their money in the AT&T Shares fund....

That $10K invested in a fund tracking the S&P 500 in 2004 is now about $65K.

Yup, bunch of geniuses we have here at the helm, building shareholder wealth.

It always goes up slightly before earnings because the senior leadership team is doing insider trading. Right now, Level 6 are meeting with their Level 5s and disclosing the Q2 results and advising them of their stock option vesting and grants. There Chief of Staff have access to earning in Tableau reports and they also profit from the insider trading information. Then, real earnings are announced and you will see the stock price recede as the senior leadership team sells out and moves the money into tax shelters.

Big deal. Anyone who gets excited about this has only been with AT&T or held T stock for a year or two. Everyone else still laments the loss from stupid decisions by some low IQ CEOs with 3rd grade business understanding and a snail's vision.

Market rotation from tech back to beaten down stocks on anticipation of interest rate decreases.

Yes, obviously Stankey had something to do with it……..not.
It’s just traders doing trader things and min/maxing
